Parts OE Verses Aftermarket: We offer both OE (Original Equipment) parts and aftermarket parts. In many cases both parts come from the exact same place. Sometimes the only difference is the box and the price! We have specifically left out certain aftermarket brands that we feel do not meet our high standards. Our reputation is the most valuable part that we offer so you can rest assured that we WILL NOT sell parts that we can not confidently stand behind! All over the site you will see Brand listings, OES, AFT etc... You can click on these links to get info about the brand. Because we have a ton of parts not all brands will be listed. If you do not see a brand then assume it is aftermarket.
Parts Prices: How can our prices be so low? Our answer is quite simple! Volume and a low profit margin! Most Import car parts are not that expensive, but many companies have no problem making outrageous profits at the customer's expense. Our objective is to keep you as a happy customer for many years by selling you quality parts with fair pricing.
Price Changes: Protech1 inc/SwedishAutoParts and all of its affiliates reserve the right to change pricing at anytime. Prices change daily and can be difficult to monitor. All prices are subject to change without notice and can be changed at any time. The administrators will do everything within their power to honor a price but there are times when things happen that will not allow us to honor a price. Where are we located: We have 3 divisions of Our Websites, 2 in Elon, North Carolina, and one in Rock Hill, South Carolina. We have more than 70 warehouses throughout the United States that our parts are shipped from. In most cases we attempt to ship your order from the warehouse that is located closest to you. However, in some cases we may not be able to do this due to the part location.

Orio North America Limited Warranty – Retail: Orio North America (ONA) provides a limited warranty to the retail purchaser of a new replacement part or accessory item that the part or accessory will be free from defects in material or workmanship. This limited warranty applies only to parts and accessories purchased by a retail customer from ONA. During the applicable warranty period, at ONA's sole discretion, the defective part or accessory may be exchanged, repaired or reimbursed in an amount equal to the price paid by the retail customer, net of tax, credits and incentives.
Parts and Accessories Purchased by a Retail Customer Parts and accessories ,purchased by a retail customer from ONA are covered under this limited warranty for 1 year from the date of retail purchase. This limited warranty covers the exchange, repair or reimbursement of the defective part. This limited warranty does not cover or provide compensation for any labor charges related to the diagnosis, removal or installation of the part. This warranty is not transferable.
*Excluded from Limited Warranty Coverage: What is Not Covered under this Limited Warranty?
*Parts or accessories not sold, supplied, or approved by ONA and/or not retailed by ONA.
*Labor costs for removal and replacement of a defective part or accessory.
*Frictional wear items, unless a manufacturing defect exists, e.g., brake pad material separating from backing plate,springs becoming loose in a clutch disc, etc.
*Conditions resulting from negligence, alteration, accident, installation of part(s) on a vehicle, or other use for which the part or accessory was not designed or approved by ONA.
*Parts and accessories used in racing or other competition
*Loss of time, inconvenience, loss of the vehicle or other economic loss
*Damage due to lack of maintenance, use of wrong fluids, fuel, oil, refrigerants or lubricants
Claim Submissions: All claims, must be submitted in accordance with the instructions contained on the ONA website the part or accessory was purchased on.
Parts - Returned Parts: We work very hard to provide you with all the instructions needed to help you diagnose problems correctly so please understand that returns can be detrimental to any company. Over the years we have had to tighten up on our return policy because of the amount of returns that are rejected. We value your business tremendously but we have rules we must follow in-order to provide quality service and keep our prices low. Below is our return policy:
Policy: All returns must be authorized by the administration & must be done within 45 days of the purchase. There is a automatic 15-25% restocking fee on all return to stock parts (not on parts that are misboxed or misshipped). The administration will choose whether to issue a website credit (preferred method) or credit card refund. In some cases the restock fee can be reduced if a website credit is applied which allows you to use the return amount on a future order. ELECTRICAL PARTS are not returnable (Any product that runs off the electronics of the car are classified as electrical). We simply do not want people buying products for diagnostic purposes and then wanting to return them after the part does not fix their problem. All returns MUST be returned in their original box or bag. There is no exceptions for this because we cannot return them to our vendors without the original boxes.
NOTE: Some OES parts are Special Order items we order from VOLVO. They are NOT returnable for ANY reason. This includes any parts that you supply the part number for, parts from the Master Database, and parts for Volvos that are older than 8 years. Please understand we are not trying to be difficult, but we cannot invest our resources in products that do not move quickly.
CORE Cores apply to remanufactured parts which means that you replace your bad part with one that we build. You then return the
old part to us to be credited the amount that you were originally charged for the core. All cores must arrive back to us within 30 days for credit.
ALL core returns must be in their original boxes or NO credit will be issued. No Exceptions can be made here as our manufacturers require this from us. Cores that have been take apart will NOT be refunded. They must be in the original condition. No exceptions.
Return Address: Use this link or Go on SwedishAutoParts.com, click Contact Us, then select Return parts. Fill out the form with your Order number (8 numbers long) and the email address from your order. Call us if you need help 1-833-895-7222.
NOTES: Be sure to empty out all fluids from hydraulic parts.
Do NOT put labels on individual parts boxes. They must be returned in re-sellable condition.
Also you need to send the package with insurance and tracking..
We cannot issue refunds for parts that are lost by your shipper.

Shipping Policy: The shipping policy depends on your location. Our system is set to default to the closest of our warehouses. In most cases this means
2-4 Business days. When you place an order with us NEXT DAY, SECOND DAY, ETC... (notice the cart does not say NEXT DAY AIR, SECOND DAY AIR) This does NOT mean that we will automatically ship via NEXT DAY or SECOND DAY. If we default it to the closest warehouse our cost on the part may have actually been higher at the time we purchased that part and stocked the part in that warehouse. There is no intentions here on our part but to get you the part the quickest and to keep our part prices low we attempt to do this consistently. There are many times that we have to ship a multi-line items expedited or ground which means we absorb the shipping cost on these orders not you. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is charged at the 2nd day rate due to the extra cost involved and does not mean the order arrives in 2 days. Thanks for understanding this.
We are in NO WAY responsible for any customs charges that accompany orders being shipped to Non-USA locations. We cannot control the package once it has left the USA.
Parts - Refused Orders: Keep in mind that all shipped orders require work on our part. There will be charges associated with any refused order 25% restocking fee. We understand that mistakes happen but please understand our position as well.
Shipping to alternate addresses: All products must be shipped to the billing address of the credit card unless the second address has been added to the credit/debit card as a verified address (We do NOT ship to PO Boxes unless they are APO addresses). The reason for adding secondary addresses is because your credit/debit card company sends bills to the billing address only and any other address is not valid unless your credit/debit card company has it on file. This is done for your protection as well as ours and there are no exceptions. When checking out of our shopping cart everyone sees this information on a popup screen and must exit out of that screen before proceeding with a second address. If you ignore the popup screen the order will NOT be processed until everything is corrected. We understand that some people have children in college & people get broken down in different locations but these rules must be followed in-order for us to prevent fraud and to protect your credit cards. DO NOT assume that because the credit/debit card goes through and you get a confirmation screen that the order will be processed. It will not be processed unless everything matches correctly. Hundreds of other major corporations also follow these rules online as well. Shipping to an alternate state throws up the biggest flag of all when it comes to Fraud. The rules must be followed in every circumstance and no exceptions can be made, period. Parts Problems & how we handle them: The old saying when it rains it pours seems to hold true with certain customers. When something goes wrong with your order or when the following occurs: (a part is mis-picked, a part is not in the box, the wrong part is shipped, a warranty issue
exists with the part, etc....) We will do what we can to get the issue resolved. Keep in mind that we operate a business and there are rules that must be followed in-order to get these things handled. If a part is installed and fails, the labor is the responsibility of the customer. We do not pay any labor for any reason. We simply know nothing of your mechanic and how capable he is. Here are some examples of other things that happen and how we must handle them:
What do I do if I get the wrong part? Call as at 1-833-895-7222. When you get the wrong part we may send you a tag or ask you to return the items to a certain address. If we are going to send you a tag then you MUST wait for the tag and return the incorrect part using our tag so it goes to the correct warehouse. If you do not wait for the tag we cannot credit the shipping back on the part because we have already paid for the tag once. Bottom line: wait for the tag unless we ask you to send the part back to an address. If we tell you where to send the part back to then we will pay your freight for the return. We charge you for the reshipped part.
Why do you charge us for YOU shipping the wrong part? The reason we charge you for the 2nd order is because most people would never return the wrong parts if we did not do this. We must have those parts back to put back on the shelf.
Why will you not issue refunds on parts that are warranty? We have had situations where people say the part is faulty and want to return it for a refund without getting a replacement. This cannot be done. We will be happy to replace the part with a replacement part as long as it is under warranty. We simply do not want people buying products to see if they will fix their car and then returning them because they did not really need them. Thanks for understanding that you can't stay in business long when this happens.
Why must all returns & cores have to have the original boxes? We must have the original boxes on all cores and on parts that are new returns. If you get a new part and take it out of the box and find out it was bad or wrong then it must be returned in the correct box. We cannot issue credit if the part is not in the box.
Why do I have to pay taxes in certain states? Rules apply according to different states. Most states make us collect taxes from customers if we have warehouses in their states. Why the name change to Swedish Auto Parts? The main reason that we changed our name from "thevolvosite.com to Swedish Auto Parts is because we wanted to remain in good standing with Volvo AB regarding their trademark word "Volvo". In actuality we had this domain name registered many years ago and planned on moving to this domain name at some point anyway. We also own thesaabsite.com so the name Swedish Auto Parts fits both of our Swedish lines well. We want to be clear here that were in no way forced to do this nor did we have any issues with Volvo. This was a corporate decision.
