VOLVO 240/260 RUNNING LIGHT PROBLEM

Question: 240 running lights are on in the running light position, but when I turn the switch to the headlamp position I lose the running lights and the head lights.
I have changed the switch, the relay under the hood, and the bulb out relay under the dash.
When I pull and hold the dimmer handle I have head lights

Answer: Possibly a problem with the bulb socket for the low beams.
Also check the fuses for the Tail Lights.
Also check for shorted wiring.
